Marcus Rashford explores new options with agency Stellar, eyeing a move from Manchester United amid recent struggles and reduced game time under Amorim

Marcus Rashford Wants To Exit Man Utd After Transfer Squabbles

Marcus Rashford has been linked with Manchester United , and the forward is said to be looking elsewhere off the pitch this January.

The 27-year-old England international is in negotiations with elite sports agent Stellar, who negotiated such big moves as Gareth Bale’s record-breaking move to Real Madrid in 2013. Rashford, who is being coached by his brother Dwaine Maynard, looks likely to beef up his side ahead of a departure from Old Trafford.

Rashford’s Struggles at Manchester United

Rashford’s time at United has been an unstable affair for the last 18 months. Even after a 30-goal season, the academy graduate has struggled, both on and off the court. Manager Ruben Amorim has recently retired the striker after dropping him from the squad for four games in a row before recalling him in United’s recent 3-0 defeat at Newcastle .

Even then, Rashford sat on the bench, and Amorim refused to use him, raising concerns as to the manager’s motivation. Amorim refuted any solitary intent, saying:

"I think about the team, not Marcus. I want to win games, not score points on the court."

Rashford’s woes have had consequences for his international career too, with the forward ruled out of the England squad and not qualifying for the Euros.

New Beginnings for Marcus Rashford?

The January window gives Rashford the chance to move on. But his wages and United’s value would complicate a mid-season exit, so he might have to wait until the summer.

Rashford is reportedly hungry for a new challenge, and those with access to the situation suggest that a new environment might spark his form. Rashford, in a statement last month, spoke of his future:

"If I know it’s bad, I don’t ruin it. I’ve watched players quit and I don’t want to be that player. I’ll do it my way when I leave.

Stellar Could Hold the Key

Rashford’s conversations with Stellar reaffirm his commitment to making the right call. The agency has a proven track record of pulling off large transfer deals, so it is an ideal option for the forward to look to when deciding where to go next.

Losing Rashford at home, like any other home-grown, would be an emotional blow to Manchester United. But now that his show is faltering and the sour grapes are piling up, maybe both sides feel it is time to say goodbye.

In January we’ll wait and see whether Marcus Rashford moves on with his career, or remains at Old Trafford for the rest of the season.
